RIGID Industries-Sponsored Off-Road Racers Win At Mint 400

Rigid Industries-backed drivers Kyle Jergensen and Ronnie Anderson showcased their prowess at The Mint 400 in Las Vegas, Nevada last month. Jergensen triumphed in the Unlimited Truck SPEC class, marking his second win in three years. Despite competing against more powerful Unlimited Trucks, he clinched second place overall. Meanwhile, Anderson dominated the Pro Open UTV class, securing a class win and claiming the Overall Limited Race Win, outpacing competitors from faster classes.

Starting from the 31st position, Jergensen surged through the ranks in his Camburg-built RIGID Industries-sponsored “Beast” Unlimited Truck SPEC racer. Despite facing off against Adam Householder’s Unlimited Truck, which boasted superior horsepower, Jergensen maintained a fierce pace throughout the 400-mile race. Despite Householder’s advantage, Jergensen’s skill and determination led him to victory in the Unlimited Truck SPEC class, finishing just over 10 minutes behind Householder for second place overall.

Meanwhile, Anderson embarked on his journey from the 13th position in the NOS Energy Polaris ProR UTV class. With 400 miles of challenging terrain ahead, Anderson navigated skillfully through the desert landscape, steadily overtaking competitors. His relentless drive saw him vying for the top position in his class as the race progressed. Crossing the finish line first among UTVs, Anderson secured both the class win and the coveted Overall Limited Race Win, a testament to his exceptional performance on race day.

Known as “The Great American Off-Road Race,” The Mint 400 stands as one of the most esteemed and historic desert racing events in the United States. Originating in 1968 as a publicity stunt during the Mint Hotel’s annual deer hunt, it swiftly evolved into a premier desert racing spectacle. Drawing celebrities and top-tier racers from various motorsport disciplines, The Mint 400 became a coveted prize for competitors. Today, this tradition continues, with over 500 off-road racers converging to tackle the unforgiving terrain near Sin City.

Mitch Williams, President of RIGID Industries, remarked, “This was a significant race weekend for RIGID, and we’re honored to support some of the finest racers in this field.” He highlighted Kyle Jergensen and Ronnie Anderson as emerging stars in off-road racing, expressing pride in their endeavors and their affiliation with the RIGID Nation. Anticipation brews for their future achievements throughout the desert racing season.
