Ram Replaces TRX with the All-New 2025 RHO: Power Meets Efficiency

Ram Replaces TRX with the All-New 2025 RHO: Power Meets Efficiency

Gearheads, rejoice! Ram has unveiled the successor to the legendary TRX – the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO. While the TRX may be gone, the RHO steps in to fill the void with impressive performance and a focus on efficiency.

Twin-Turbo Power Meets Lighter Weight

The RHO trades the TRX’s monstrous V8 for a high-output, twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine codenamed “Hurricane.” Don’t let the cylinder count fool you – this beast pumps out a formidable 540 horsepower. While it sacrifices some power compared to the TRX, the RHO sheds 150 pounds and boasts a superior weight distribution. This translates to impressive acceleration, with the RHO hitting 0-60 in a blistering 4.6 seconds, just a hair slower than the TRX.

Fuel Efficiency Without Compromise

The switch to the inline-six engine offers a significant advantage – improved fuel economy. You can expect better gas mileage without sacrificing the off-road prowess the Ram lineup is known for.

Baja-Ready Suspension and Modern Interior

The RHO inherits the TRX’s widebody design and Baja-ready suspension, ensuring it tackles any terrain with confidence. Inside, the RHO benefits from the upgrades introduced in the 2025 Ram lineup, featuring a sleek 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a massive 14.5-inch vertically oriented infotainment screen.

The RHO: More Than Just a Replacement

The Ram 1500 RHO isn’t just a replacement for the TRX – it’s a powerful evolution. It offers exhilarating performance, improved fuel efficiency, and a modern interior, all at a significantly lower price tag than its predecessor. The RHO is available to order now, with deliveries starting in the third quarter of 2024.
