Race Motion is a new video series created by motorsport production powerhouse Mad Media as a slow-motion cinematic exploration of the beauty and contrasting violence of off-road racing. Watch as these incredible vehicles soak up the roughest terrain on the planet. Dive deep into the world of off-road racing and get up close and personal with incredible cinematic moments that most people never witness.

“As cinematographers, we get to see some amazing moments during an off-road race, many of which never get used in our final edits,”states Mad Media CEO Matt Martelli. “We have launched a new video series called ‘Race Motion’ that showcases some of the best shots we capture. The series is a cinematic study, combining light, focus, composition, intuition, timing and a little bit of luck to create remarkable shots that communicate the energy that is being unleashed by the violent action of these incredible vehicles. Then there’s the contrast of the stunning beauty of the Mojave desert as the backdrop. The high-frame rate slow-motion shots really allow you to see how incredible off-road race vehicles are.”

This year’s 2020 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 featured epic battles amongst the massive field of 525 competitors. Here are some of the most cinematic highlights captured by the Mad Media team. Check it out and smash that subscribe button!
