Polaris Off Road’s All-New Adventure Rigs: 2024 Polaris XPEDITION XP and ADV

Polaris Off Road, known for its trailblazing innovations in off-road vehicles, is once again revolutionizing the industry with the introduction of the all-new Polaris XPEDITION XP and ADV models. This groundbreaking side-by-side platform is paving the way for a new era of “adventure side-by-sides.” These vehicles combine the best of traditional side-by-sides with the comfort and cargo capabilities required for overlanding at the highest level, redefining the off-road experience.

“We saw a massive opportunity in the adventure market. More and more people are seeking thrilling outdoor experiences, and we wanted to create a vehicle that redefines the side-by-side experience,” says Reid Wilson, Vice President of Polaris Off Road Recreation. “Our goal was to merge the worlds of traditional side-by-sides and overlanding, empowering passionate adventurers to venture further and discover incredible new destinations.”

Polaris has created a whole new category with the XPEDITION—adventure side-by-sides built to elevate your specific outdoor pursuits. While recreational side-by-sides focus on the driving experience and utility side-by-sides cater to labor-intensive tasks, the XPEDITION takes outdoor adventure to a whole new level. It offers unrivaled adaptability, comfort, and capability designed to cater to every outdoor enthusiast out there to help them tackle any pursuit and explore uncharted territories. From camping and hiking to hunting, fishing, and even adrenaline-fueled activities like mountain biking and kayaking, the XPEDITION has got you covered.

Performance

It doesn’t miss a beat when it comes to performance. For the avid adventurer seeking to venture deeper into the backcountry and extend their trips, the 2024 Polaris XPEDITION boasts the largest fuel capacity of any factory side-by-side on the market, offering a remarkable range of over 200 miles, depending on terrain, load, and driving conditions. Its powerful 114-horsepower ProStar 1000 Gen 2 engine delivers quick responsiveness and acceleration. With on-demand all-wheel drive, Pro Armor 30″ Crawler XP tires, and an impressive 14″ of ground clearance, conquering even the most challenging terrains becomes a breeze. The XPEDITION is designed to handle trail conditions with confidence, featuring high-mounted air intakes, sealed electrical components, and extreme approach and departure angles. These ensure that the electrical system stays dry and the engine, clutches, and belt receive proper airflow for optimal performance.

With its purposeful design, the Polaris XPEDITION comes equipped with a Polaris HD 4,500 LB winch, providing assistance in navigating unfamiliar territories. Additionally, it offers convenient compatibility with the Glacier Pro HD plow system, making it easier than ever to tackle snowy conditions. Furthermore, the Polaris PULSE electrical system enables effortless installation of accessories such as light bars and a heater kit. This allows you to enjoy year-round adventures, day or night, by going the distance with added convenience and functionality.

Rider Comfort

When it comes to comfort, the XPEDITION doesn’t hold back. It comes equipped with advanced FOX Podium QS3 Shocks featuring Position Sensitive Spiral technology, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable ride throughout the day, even on rough terrain. For enhanced comfort, you have the option of the enclosed Pro Shield Cab System, providing a tight seal that integrates seamlessly year-round, delivering a superior experience in every season. It’s the first-ever sport side-by-side to feature a fully enclosed cab with full roof coverage, windows, and optional heating and air conditioning. In the NorthStar trim, you’ll find an exclusive HVAC system with adjustable control modes, allowing riders to customize and direct the airflow for optimal comfort regardless of hot or cold conditions. It’s the only sport side-by-side in the industry to offer HVAC as a standard feature. With power windows and a tip-out front windshield, riders can still savor the outdoors while enjoying the comfort and protection of the cab.

The cab features a tilt and telescoping steering wheel, 6 inches of seat adjustability, and front bucket seats that provide a personalized fit. To ensure the safety and security of your gear, the vehicle offers locking doors, a center console, and a rear cargo box as optional features. Exploring unfamiliar terrain with confidence is now easier than ever, thanks to Polaris’ industry-leading seven-inch touchscreen display powered by RIDE COMMAND. This advanced system grants riders access to sophisticated GPS and trail networks, while the Group Ride feature enables communication, navigation, and connectivity among riders in a group. And for an enhanced outdoor adventure experience, the XPEDITION is equipped with the JBL Trail Pro audio system, allowing riders to enjoy a customized soundtrack to complement their journey amidst nature.

Looking for ample storage? The XPEDITION has got you covered. The ADV model boasts a fully covered pass-through rear cargo box, providing 36″ and 63″ of flat storage length for the 2-seat and 5-seat models, respectively.
