As we continued to work on the Jeep Gladiator overlanding rig from our piece here, we came across these two great Jeep upgrades. These will work for both the JT and the JL, making these rigs more comfortable and better prepared for not a lot of dough.
When we hit the trails in our Jeep JT Gladiator, we want it to be all about adventure, but comfort and preparedness can’t be left behind. That’s where the Quadratec Driver Side Dead Pedal ($79.99) and Quadratec Flashlight Holder with Flashlight ($39.98) come in. These seemingly simple and wallet-friendly upgrades pack a powerful punch by enhancing your Jeep experience in ways you might not expect.
Step Up Your Comfort:
One issue we have found while on adventures is that longer drives with no dead pedal can be a real pain. Now, long drives are no problem. The Driver Side Dead Pedal provides a dedicated resting spot for your left foot, reducing fatigue and strain on long journeys. The 304 stainless steel construction is built to last, while the large surface area (9.84″ x 3″) offers ample support. Installation was a breeze, with no drilling required. (*This upgrade will only work with JT and JL Jeeps with automatic transmissions. Also, this does not fit Wrangler 4xe hybrid electric models*)
Shine a Light on Convenience:
Darkness? No sweat: The Quadratec Flashlight Holder keeps your trusty flashlight within arm’s reach, mounted securely to your driver or passenger seat bracket. No more scrambling for light when you need it most, whether it’s checking under the hood at night or navigating a dark campsite. The 10-gauge steel mount and ABS plastic clips ensure your flashlight stays put, even on bumpy rides. And with the included Quadratec LED flashlight, you get 12x Cree LED power and a long beam distance, perfect for any situation.
