Hit the Road with Buffett’s Former Surf Shack on Wheels: 2004 Ford E-350 Sportsmobile 6.0L Power Stroke 4×4 Up For Auction

This isn’t your ordinary Ford. This 2004 E-350 once served as the legendary Jimmy Buffett’s personal getaway vehicle.

Buffett purchased this new van and had it outfitted by Sportsmobile, a pioneer in the camper van world. They transformed it into a true overlanding machine, complete with a four-wheel drive system to conquer any terrain. Under the hood lurks a powerful 6.0-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel V8, ready to fuel countless miles of exploration.

A raised roof provides ample headroom for the well-equipped living area. Imagine whipping up island-inspired meals in the built-in kitchenette, complete with a refrigerator, microwave, and butane stove. When it’s time to catch some rays, there’s a comfortable sleeping space for two.

The exterior is all business, boasting a rugged front steel bumper with fog lights and a winch, perfect for venturing off the beaten path. Fender flares add off-road style, while roof rack ladders provide easy access to your gear.

In 2020, the torch was passed, and the current owner acquired this beauty directly from Buffett. Now, it’s your chance to own a piece of musical history and embark on your coastal adventures.
