Give your 2019-2021 Chevy/GMC 1500 rig a towering upgrade with the new BDS 4″ and 6″ high clearance coilover systems with FOX 2.0 Performance Snap Ring Coilover Struts. These systems join the existing 4″ and 6″ lift options as an intermediary between the standard (strut spacer) kits and full-blown FOX 2.5 R/R coilover systems by utilizing FOX 2.0 performance series IFP (non-reservoir) coilovers and 2.0 PS IFP rear shocks. These new suspension systems utilize the tried and true high-clearance IFS design that has made BDS the preferred suspension lift for late-model GMs, which have been updated to correct suspension, steering, and driveline geometry for improved on-road comfort and off-road performance.

At the heart of these new systems are a pair of precision-tuned FOX 2.0 performance series (non-reservoir) coilover struts designed for use with the factory coil spring and top plate. These non-reservoir FOX coilovers offer improved on-road and off-road performance and allow easy setup with 2 snap ring grooves for either 4″ or 6″ of lift. They are a direct bolt-in replacement for the factory strut assemblies and improve damper performance.

They feature a 2.0″ extruded and machined 6061 T6 aluminum body for better heat dispersion, along with an internal floating piston (IFP) to eliminate oil aeration, FOX’s proprietary internals, 5/8″ hard chrome plated heat-treated alloy shaft. Complementing the coilovers, BDS utilizes a pair of specially designed 1/4″ thick laser cut high clearance crossmembers to maximize clearance and provide a solid mounting point for the OE lower control arms.

These, paired with the 3-piece heavy-duty front skid plate system, create a rigid subframe while adding protection for vital steering and driveline components. In place of the factory steering knuckles, a pair of specially designed ductile iron replacement steering knuckles are supplied to maintain proper steering geometry for ESC system compatibility. These connect to the factory steering with a couple of heavy-duty replacement tie rod ends included in the kit. The front differential is repositioned with BDS’s multipoint relocation bracket system tying into the frame and control arm pockets to further secure the front differential to keep CV axle angles at a minimum.

A billet aluminum front driveshaft spacer is also supplied along with longer hardware to allow the reinstallation of the factory driveshaft. A pair of BDS-branded sway bar drop brackets help to correct the operating angle of the factory sway bar and create a strong brace between the rear crossmember and the frame. Rounding out the front of this kit are new lower control arm cam bolts with a weld-in frame reinforcement plate for extra strength.

In the rear of these lift systems, the factory block is replaced with either a 3″ or 5″ lift block and longer u-bolts to lift and level the stance depending on front lift height. Specially tuned FOX 2.0 IFP performance series gas shocks are supplied to round out the rear. All kits come finished in a durable textured black powder coat and sent with all hardware packs to complete the install along with step-by-step installation instructions.

As with all BDS suspension systems these new 4″ and 6″ coilover systems options are backed by Factory Protection Plus, offering you peace of mind for your adventure. This includes a BDS No Fine Print Warranty, FMVSS No.126 compliance testing and a 5-year-100,000-mile drivetrain warranty.
